I moved... again.
Ta-dah!
I have yet again moved to a different area in the city of angels. In a span of like five months... or less. Don't judge me! Hah, do judge, or not. IDC, as kids these days would say. ICECL. (I couldn't even care less.) Am I doing this right?

Anyways, how have you guys been up to? I feel like I've been opening boxes, cleaning up, moving furniture, and all that jazz for the last six months, even though I've been here for just two. But finally it has been coming together. I feel more at home here than anywhere else I've lived before. I chose this place for many different things - one it being something I can afford. I guess that's the most important one? I mean, I don't know, so what if you can't afford your rent, right? It's just a me thing since I'm poor and broke simultaneously.
Another thing is I'm try to go full LA by being that fit gal you follow on Instagram. I immediately enrolled myself to the 24 Hour Fitness that's five minutes from my house. Low and behold, I've been there once, maybe twice, the past month. Cause ya know, I'm poor and broke AND ignorantly spend my money like I'm the next big thang. Not only that, I realized I live next to a trail. Yep, you guessed it, haven't been there once. And I live in the freaking hills for god's sake and yet I drive everywhere instead of walking.
In any matter, I'm not trying to fat shame myself in this blog. It's been a quite while and allow me to start this one on a positive note:
Moving is closing your favorite book, putting it back on your shelf, and checking the bookstore for a new one. It's a brand new adventure (and you guys know how crazy I am with adventures). You don't know what's in it but you just read it anyways. Why? For one, it was not free, and two, you're curious. Will you like it? You won't know until you start with the first chapter. It's not the most exciting thing especially when you've grown comfortable and accustomed to your lifestyle and your abode but sometimes you just need to dip your foot and test the waters.
This is my first apartment so I was the most excited of them all. I had to buy new appliances and furniture, squeezed my way through thrift shops and flea markets, and peeped my family and friend's used but not being used stuff. It was a lot of work but probably the most fun I've done in a while. But I think the best part was decorating the place. I finally have a box I can express and play all my spatial art with.
I also have my own kitchen filled with only the food I want to eat. You reading this, mom? Good. Kidding. So basically my overtly white cookery heaven is filled with carbs, frozen delights, and baked goods. And this baked goods are fresh AF because I'm fortunate enough to wife a baker. Probably buying those cute utensils and kitchenware was the cherry on top of this migration treat. (If you guys would want to send me some housewarming gift, I would really want some more cute kitchen stuff. Check out our Target Registry. *wink wink*)
It's a small space with a lot of opportunities. I'm really stoked for what this tiny box will be witnessing us do for the remainder of the year and next year. I'm planning to put up some photos some time this month so keep on the look out!
Til the next one,
AG x
